It has been FOREVER since I last posted! A lot has happened, Ava is almost 3 months old! Our camera was stolen and then our laptop got wiped out because of a virus, so my pictures are kind of MIA. I have them all loaded on facebook, but I never seem to have the time to get them transferred to our blog.
Here's a quick update on everyone:
Kenny opened up another location and started an auto detailing business as well! The guy never has less than two businesses going at once! So proud of him!
Bradley is our beautiful spunky boy as always! He just gets bigger everyday, and is always fun to be around! His new trick is dramatic, fake crying for an hour for no apparent reason! It is pretty funny!
Ava is almost 3 months old! She is so beautiful! She is honestly the happiest, sweetest, most content baby in the whole world! And she sleeps 8 hours a night for me! A dream baby!
I am just lucky to be with my cute kids all day, and I'm starting back at the University of Utah at the end of August. It is long overdue, and I am so so excited to finish my degree! I switched my major from economics to psychology because that way I can complete almost all of it online. Here are a few pics, more to come...

Ava Christina Bledsoe was born on May 19, 2010 at 8:04 am! She is perfect and the most beautiful thing I've ever seen! We are so in love with her! This was the easiest delivery, and I'm so grateful to have such a healthy baby girl here!
So I began to think I would never go into labor, and then Tuesday night my contractions came fast and furiously and when they were 5 minutes apart we went to the hospital, around 3am. Five hours later we had our little girl here!! She was so big and healthy and I seriously only pushed for 5 minutes before she came! She is so sweet and content, and the only time you hear a peep out of her is when she is hungry! We love our little girl! And Bradley is already a great big brother, he asks to hold her and kisses her about 30 times a day!

So I've finally managed to post a picture of me pregnant! Ha, just kidding, but that is how I feel! I actually need to take a picture of this pregnancy because I just realized I don't think I have any pictures from Bradley's pregnancy either!
Kenny and I are just waiting on pins and needles for our little girl to come! To put it in non-graphic terms, I have been dialated and VERY ready to go for a couple of weeks now! I am so relieved I've now made it to 38 weeks, (Bradley came at 36) which means we will probably get a very healthy little bambina! I will keep you posted on our little girl!

Kenny's Graduation!!!!!

Kenny Graduated!!! He officially walked at the E Center on May 1st and received his degree in Business Finance from the University of Phoenix!! I am so incredibly proud of Kenny! He has worked really hard these past two years to finish his degree, and it hasn't been easy! He works full time running his business and then comes home at night and pumps out a few hours of homework and papers! And these past few months he's actually doubled up on his classes to finish in May. There isn't a harder worker than Kenny and I am so proud of him for this enormous accomplishment! May is a really big month for him, he graduated, we will welcome our little daughter into the world sometime this month, and he is opening up a new location for Rockstar! Wow, go Kenny! I am so proud of you!!

I was looking at my cute cousin Katie's blog and I read this. It really touched me and I had to steal it to share with everyone. I guess I relate to this so much because there are so many times where I feel like I am not doing enough as a mother, even though I do everything I possibly can. It's so good to know that perhaps my just trying my hardest is enough. So here's a shout out to all the incredible Mamma's out there!

I drove home from Loveland
Saturday,
I always leave there with a heavy heart.
I hate leaving Dean.
Dean is my special-needs son
whose needs exceed my ability,
so he lives in a host-home in Loveland, Colorado
two hours from us.
I physically ache when I pull out of his driveway.

We found out this morning that we are going to have a little baby girl in May! I was so shocked, for whatever reason I thought we were for sure having another boy! So, I have to say it... Kenny was right! The most important thing is she is very healthy and right on target for her due date. I've had the name Isabella picked out since I was in high school (WAY before the Twilight craze) and so her full name is going to be Isabella Christina Bledsoe; Bella, for short. We are soooooo excited! I will post the pics from her ultrasound soon!

We had an amazing Christmas this year! My brother was in town from LA, so it was so incredible to get to see him! It also was really fun spoiling Bradley, despite the fact that he has no concept of what Christmas or Santa is yet. We got Bradley a play kitchen and shopping cart, and some books and things. Kenny and I were naive enough to start putting the kitchen together at 11pm on Christmas Eve... it took us 4 hours! It was ridiculously hard and tedious! But it was so worth it because it is now his favorite toy!

We went to Florida right after Thanksgiving to see Kenny's parents. Originally, we were supposed to fly to Kentucky for Thanksgiving to see his grandparents, and then on to Florida. Unfortunately at the last minute my morning sickness was brutal and my back was killing, so I decided I just couldn't make it. Kenny cancelled our tickets, and then talked me into joining everyone a few days later. Luckily, I wasn't too sick on the trip, but right when we landed in SLC again, sure enough I was sick as a dog! It was an amazing trip and we loved spending time with Kenny's parents, and we really want to make it out to see Grandma and Grandpa Bledsoe soon!!

The New Year

There are so many things going on in our lives right now, and it has been a seriously long time since I've posted! I've kept a running list in my head of all the many resolutions I'd like to make this year, and it's about time I made myself accountable! I think one of the really big things I'd like to do this year (besides having another baby) would be to get back to school! Lately I've just felt a really strong desire to finish my degree. I left the University of Utah with 70 credits before I had Bradley. I kept meaning to go back, but just haven't found the time, and I know it's insane to start back up with another baby on the way, but I just need to get this degree out of the way! The baby's due in May, so I'm thinking fall semester I'd like to go back part time, doing as much online as I can.
Enough about me, it's time to catch you up on everyone in our family! We'll start off with the man who runs the show at our house, Mr. Bradley! He is 18 months and a joy to us all! He is so spunky and full of energy! He loves socializing and attention, and will dance and literally stand on his head if people are around and applauding! His new obsession is turning lights on and off, which can get tiring when I'm having to hold him up to the switch! We know he is going to make an amazing big brother when the time comes in May!
Kenny still amazes me every day by all that he does and accomplishes! He is going to school full-time, actually taking a double load of classes, and graduates with his degree in Finance in May!!! Yay! He is still working full time with Rockstar, and comes home at night just in time to pump out a few papers! Talk about a real man! But I think his biggest accomplishment is how sweet he is with Bradley, he is the most patient, loving, playful father and Bradley adores him!
I wish that my update was as eventful as everyone else's, but I just basically stay at home and take care of Bradley everyday (which I am SO blessed to be able to do!) and will be popping out another baby in May.
We find out whether baby Bledsoe II is a boy or a girl on Monday!! Kenny is saying girl, and I am saying boy, so we will see! Although, I am not one of those women who have a feeling and can tell what they are having, I have no idea! But regardless of what it is, we will be extremely happy just to have a healthy baby!
I hope this is a good update of what everyone is doing, and I'm sorry it's so long! I'll post some pictures of the past few months!

Kenny and I decided to take a "second honeymoon" and go to California! It was so much fun, even though it was my first time being away from Bradley. It worked out though because he got spoiled rotten by his Mimi and Papa Panos. We went to Disneyland, Universal Studios, 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, and rode bikes along Venice Beach and then up to Malibu! We also went to Rodeo Drive, and got Sprinkles! Please, please go there if you never have! Also we are trying to figure out why everyone's talking up Pinkberry when Yogurtland is far superior! It has more flavors, more toppings and is way cheaper!

Bradley's 1st Birthday!!!

Today was Bradley's first birthday!!! It was a very nostalgic day, it is so monumental to reach my son's first birthday! It seems like his birthday snuck up on me so fast I didn't have time to think back on this time last year. But I was talking to my Mom last night, and she was reminiscing of where I was exactly one year ago.

I went into my doctor's appointment on June 17, and I wasn't due until mid July. My doctor checked me out, and all I remember is how she exclaimed, "Wow." She told me I was dilated to a 6, and to put it in a non-graphic way, was not going to make it until July. She said what would happen when I was as dilated as I was is that my water would just break and I would go into labor. I was terrified! In my mind I still had about a month left and was not prepared to have the baby so soon! I had his nursery all set up, his bassinet by my bed, diapers stocked, more outfits than I knew what to do with thanks to my wonderful family and their generous baby shower. I could feel my baby move and kick and feel his foot in my side, but I just couldn't picture him until he was there.

So I went home from my doctor's appointment that day and immediately started having contractions. I was so scared, I just tried to ride the night out and hold the baby in as long as I could. But too soon, my contractions were about six minutes apart, and every Mom knows they tell you not to come in until they are 5 minutes apart. So at about 2 o'clock in the morning my water broke and Kenny rushed me to the hospital. (While I was terrified, he had been skipping around the house all night packing his hospital bag, equipped with a DVD player).

After a rough hour without an epidural, I finally got relief from excruciating contractions. Then about 8 hours later, at 10:06 am on June 18, my beautiful baby son came into the world!! It was the most amazing, happy, awe-inspiring, indescribable moment of my life. He was 5 lbs. 3 oz. and had a few problems so he had to stay in the hospital for 8 days. But he is healthy, wonderful, happy, full of life and has brought me so much joy and love every day I have had him.

This first year has gone by so fast it is frightening, too fast. All I can do is sit back and watch the beautiful, amazing little person growing up in front of me, and enjoy every second that the Lord has blessed me to have with my little son.

Bradley's birthday party was a blast! We had his cool cousins up and played in his ball pit, which was one of his presents, ate cake and ice-cream and then went swimming in the pool! Bradley's Aunt Jessica was AMAZING and prepared all the food for the party, which was delicious, and spoiled him rotten with her presents!!

My baby boy turns one on June 18!!! I cannot believe one year ago I had him! This year has flown by, and it is so amazing to see him grow and change every day! He is so beautiful, happy, fun-loving and just the best baby in the world! He is also very spoiled and he got a few birthday presents early (we figure he doesn't know this year anyway). Kenny and I are so excited for him to play with his toys we just couldn't wait! We got him one of those inflatable ball pits, and his Mimi and Papa Panos got him a toy castle (and a baby 4 wheeler, but he hasn't opened it yet). I don't want to spoil the other gifts he hasn't opened yet, but I will post lots of pics of my baby's birthday!!

I took Bradley for his very first swim yesterday! His bath-time is his favorite part of the day, so I couldn't wait for it to get warm enough to take him down to the pool at our condo building! He comes from a long line of swimmers, and it showed! He was splashing, laughing and loving every minute of it! He loved it so much he tried to maneuver himself back to the pool when we got out, but there will be plenty more swimming for him this summer!

No, No, No Bradley!!

Since Bradley's been crawling he has been into EVERYTHING! He tries to climb on the TV stand, get into our plant on the floor, climb on the fireplace screen, get into Daddy's pile of invoices, get into the cupboards and climb on anything he sees! Some of these things can be dangerous, like climbing on the TV stand, and so we have started telling him "No!" when he touches these things. I don't know if it is the change in tone and expression that he thinks is funny because he's never heard it before, but he laughs HYSTERICALLY!! And if we pick him up and carry him away he crawls almost faster than I can run back to the "No No" object, laughing the whole time. It is so hard to keep a straight face and not let on that I think he is the most adorable thing ever because he has to know I mean business. His laugh makes it all worth it. It is hard to believe he turns one next month!! This first year has gone by so fast and Kenny and I have loved every minute of it!!

Being married to Marissa is like skipping on the beach. Wow, we have so much in common. We enjoy talking about business, finances and the best places to live (Southern California, Florida, Texas). We like the same movies and most importantly she is ready to compete. Never being scared to compete makes someone a strong character. This is turning into a memo.
My favorite thing about her is that she is nothing but sweet to me!!! Her favorite thing to do is to just be by me. She wants to do everything with me and go everywhere with me. Let's say that we just need milk at the store and I offer to go get some, well it would be impossible for just me to go because Bradley and her want to come.
I love how she smirks, smiles, walks, dresses, talks, works out, laughs, giggles, talks trash, thinks, talks politics (free market, don't raise my taxes, spread my ambition, don't worry about me Uncle Sam, I function on my own, invisible hand).
Some people google for information, I just MARISSA instead of googling. Watch your back because her mind is sharp.
Let's finish this off by stating that I feel that I married up. She doesn't try to keep up with me; I have to try to keep up with her. She is not just stunning and makes me look like the MAN because I'm married to her, she is simply just a kind person that is caring. We are best friends and hanging out with her is relaxing and the best part of my life.

This year I wanted to let Kenny know just how deeply in love with him I am, and thank him for being the truly amazing husband he is! Very showy PDA’s are not my style, but I just couldn’t help myself!
From the first moment I met Kenny he has changed my whole world and became my life…he is the person who I am having babies with, building my life with, the only person in the world who can make me feel the way I do when I’m with him, and I am going to be with him forever, and this alone makes me smile everyday.
Here are just a few of the endless reasons why I love Kenny:

Rockin' The Faux-Hawk!!

Just to keep everybody updated on Bradley's accomplishments this week, he is now rockin' the faux hawk!! That's right, I was having fun after bath time and styled it into a faux hawk! He usually has it styled in a very debonaire, charming manner, but it was the sweetest thing in the world to see his angel-like face with a faux hawk on top! Needless to say, when his Daddy came home, we had to wet it down and go back to his business-like demeanor.
Also this week, Bradley is mastering his "Johnny Jump-Up",(he is very strong, and a quick learner just like his Daddy) and trying to conquer feeding himself Cheerios and holding his own sippy cup of apple juice. You'd be amazed at what you take pride in as a Mom!

Why I Won't Cut My Hair...

People predicted before I had Bradley that I would cut my hair within a month. Well, I definitely see why they said that, it can get very hard prying fingers with a death-grip from my hair, but I just couldn't cut it. Bradley seems to get a lot of comfort out of snuggling with my hair. Every morning at about 7 or 8 Bradley just wants to come in Mommy and Daddy's bed to sleep. This morning Kenny got up and brought Bradley in bed with us, and I was still sleeping because at some point 3 non-consecutive hours of sleep a night catches up with me. All of a sudden I feel a little hand petting my face and grabbing my nose and mouth, and then the baby burying himself in my hair. Kenny looked over and said, "did you move him over by you?" I told him, "no." Then he said, "Oh, cute! He saw you over there and moved himself horizontal and kicked himself three feet over to cuddle with you!"

It is moments like this that make the severe sleep deprivation worth it! And why I won't ever cut my hair!

Christmas 2008

Bradley's addition to our family made Christmas this year indescribably special! It brought a new meaning to Christmas that was impossible to know about before...he brought all the love that an angel from heaven can bring!
Kenny and I's first Christmas was amazing, we were newly married and very much in love!! But our condo was sadly lacking the ornamentation only an over-zealous parent can create. But this year we really wanted to make everything fun and exciting for Bradley... We put up a tree with shiny ornaments (you can't go wrong buying from Sam's Club) so he could look at the lights and sparkles; we put up stockings, garlands, mistletoe, an elf displaying the 'days til santa' and jingle bells. Things Kenny and I cared less about last year became a necessity if it would make Bradley smile! Sure, things got chewed up, spit up on, and thrown on the floor, but that just added to our fun. Yes, we realize we are over the top.
All in all, it was the best Christmas of our lives this year... it was the year we began our family!
